Crowdfunded books I did recently an initiative to promote the funding of two poetic prose books of my own. The campaign was very successful, with various supporters. Featuring writing, photography, design and execution by myself, the project was both overwhelming and rewarding.

Ana Margarida de Carvalho I was invited by the author to photograph the official launch of her new book after she saw some of the pictures that I took in the past of other events where she was present. The bookstore was packed and both that and the available light managed to be a good challenge.

Poster exhibition A retrospective showing of 26 works that I did in the last four years for the Center for Portuguese Language and Culture of the Camões Institute in Budapest. It was held from 6-13 May 2016 at B-terv Műhely in Budapest, Hungary. This exhibition was part of a big spring festival.

The Soft Moon It took me two years to be able to recover these photographs. A hard drive failure, work, another country change and other factors were responsible for the delay. I believe time benefited the photographs in many ways since my technical proficiency is better and my 'eye' is also different these days.

New York The Big City is a nickname that fits extremely well here. With so much to see and explore, the experience can be overwhelming. The pictures that I took there are divided into two major groups. The Green-Wood cemetery and the others that I captured in various different places all over the city.

Dohány Street Synagogue The second largest synagogue in the world exists here, in this busy street of Budapest, in Hungary. Sometimes it’s difficult to find the important history of this building in the middle of the frenzy tourism business and visits but that’s part of what’s needed to locate its secrets spread in several sections.

Helsinki Abandoned villages with imposing mills, birds with an attitude, the lake surrounding the city that connects all the mysteries when we leave the center of the capital of Finland. Even then, the center has its charms also with a life of its own where you can find a church where silence is king and other interesting places.
